Start with internal surface quality
T-DRILL technology uses TIG welding from inside the tube. Components are positioned in dedicated tooling and then welded automatically. This approach shapes the internal joint surface with the weld root on the outside. The result is assessed against the specific application requirements.

Suitability depends on internal access, assembly shape, part fit-up and tooling, among other factors. The specific geometry must be assessed.
