Applications for ND-54

An addition to the process of forming tees for brazing. The notch fits the branch end to the run tube interior, while two dimples set depth and support assembly inspection. The tool is operated manually and needs no external power supply.

How does the process work?

  1. Size

    Select the correct tool position.

  2. End preparation

Notch and form dimples on both sides of the tube.

  3. Assembly

What do we need for selection?

Provide the material, diameters, wall thicknesses and joint type. Identify the required sizes and number of ends to prepare.

Before you choose

Does ND-54 form the branch in the run tube?

No. It prepares the branch tube end that will be inserted into a collar formed with a separate T-DRILL tool.

How do ND-54 and PND-54 differ?

ND-54 is a manual tool. PND-54 is a pneumatically driven workstation requiring compressed air.
